. Voltage and current sensors have to be connected to
tested meter and optical sensor has to be adjusted to meters emitting LED or disc or impulse SO
cable has to be connected to device before start of testing.
5.5 Meter Readout
Meter Readout page enables to read content of registers of multifunctional meters with optical
communication interface according to IEC 62056-21.
Optical Communication head OPTH 1200 has to be connected to AUX input of the device and
properly placed to meter under test before starting data readout.
Meter Readout is initiated by
F3
key and result (content of registers of meter) is printed on display.
Readout data can be saved into database using key

5.6 Transformer Test
Test of current transformers (CT) or voltage transformers (VT) can be done after connecting of
suitable combination of current and voltage measuring sensors.
Testing of single phase transformer can be done using one three phase measuring accessory which
is connected to transformer this way: L1 channel of accessory to secondary side and L2 (or L3)
channel to primary side. Measurement screen shows result for both variants (L2/L1 and L3/L1).
Testing of three phase transformer (or also single phase transformer) can be done using two three
phase current sensors (in case of current transformer testing) resp. two three phase voltage sensors
(in case of voltage transformer testing). Channels of sensor connected into input A has to be
connected to secondary side of transformer and channels of sensor connected into input B has to be
connected to primary side of transformer.
It is possible to use any combination of current measuring accessories (CT 2x20, CC 2x12, CC 2x24,
FCP 3xxx) for Current Transformer testing.
