Universal Tips

The two universal tips are primarily used for inspecting patch 
cords. The 1.25 mm tip is compatible with 1.25 mm ferrules 
(as used in LC and MU type connector) while the 2.5 mm tip 
is compatible with 2.5 mm ferrules (as used in FC, ST, and 
SC style connectors). These tips allow the probe to work with 
either male connector ends, or inspect through female 
bulkhead adapters.
