The range for this parameter is -70 dB to -20 dB in
1 dB increments.
6. Highlight the IOR field and use the Left and Right
Arrow keys to enter the desired Index of Refraction
value for the fiber under test.
The range for this parameter is 1.3000 to 1.7000 in
0.0001 increments.
By holding down the Left or Right Arrow key , the
increment used when changing the IOR value
increases to 0.001 dB, speeding up editing process.
7. Highlight the BSC field and use the Left and Right
Arrow keys to enter the desired Backscatter
Coefficient value for the fiber under test.
The range for this parameter is -90.0 to -40.0 in 0.1
increments.
8. When you have finished making the desired
Parameters settings:

Use the Down Arrow key to move the
highlight to the Apply button, and then press
the Set key to close Setup.
Or –
-
Select the softkey ( F1 , F2 , or F4 ) for the next
desired setup screen.
Auto Save Setups
Use the Auto Save Setup screen to enable/disable the Auto
Save function. Files are automatically stored to the unit’s
internal memory, unless a USB memory stick is present, in
which case the files are stored to the USB stick.
