ANGELUS MODEL 180S SEAMER INSTRUCTIONS
1. MAIN POWER
A. AT THE MAIN CONTROL ENCLOSURE, MOVE THE DISCONNECT HANDLE, AT THE UPPER RIGHT
CORNER TO THE UP (ON) POSITION.
A 1. THE ABOVE ACTION SUPPLIES POWER TO THE CONTROL TRANSFORMER AND POWERS UP
THE PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER.
2. CONTROL POWER
A. AT THE MAIN CONTROL ENCLOSURE, LOCATED ON THE LEFT DOOR, MOMENTARILY PRESS THE
GREEN ILLUMINATED PUSH BUTTON LABELED “CONTROL ON’.
A 1.
THE PUSH BUTTON BECOMES ILLUMINATED.
A 2.
THE CRT WILL START AN INTERNAL DIAGNOSTIC CHECK WHICH WILL TAKE APPROXI-
MATELY ONE MINUTE TO COMPLETE.
A3.
AT THE COMPLETION OF THE CRT DIAGNOSTICS, THE CRT WILL DISPLAY PAGE 0. MAIN
SEAMER CONTROL SCREEN.
NOTE: THE ACTIVE PAGE NUMBER IS DISPLAYED IN THE UPPER LEFT CORNER OF THE CRT DISPLAY
3. BASIC CRT OVERVIEW
THE CRT IS COMPRISED OF 7 MAIN AREAS.
A. AT THE TOP OF THE CRT DISPLAY ALONG THE FIRST HORIZONTAL LINE, WE HAVE THE ACTIVE
PAGE NUMBER, THE PAGE TITLE AND THE TIME DISPLAY. ON THE SECOND LINE WE HAVE THE
NUMBER OF TOTAL PAGES AVAILABLE, AND AS INDICATED BY LOW INTENSITY ILLUMINATION
THE ACTUAL PROGRAMMED PAGES.
B. THE NEXT 4 LINES ARE AN ALARM DISPLAY AREAS AND WILL DISPLAY ANY ALARM CONDITION
ALONG WITH THE TIME THE ALARM CONDITION OCCURRED.
C. THE LOWER 2/3 RD’S OF THE DISPLAY IS DIVIDED INTO FIFTEEN (15) 1 “X I” PROGAMMABLE CELLS.
THE CELLS ARE PROGRAMMED TO ACT AS PILOT LIGHTS, PUSH BUTTONS, SELECTOR SWITCHES,
DIGITAL READOUTS AND ETC;. INDIVIDUAL CELLS CAN BE COMBINED TO FORM LARGER CELLS
FOR DISPLAY OR INFORMATION.
D. IMMEDIATELY BELOW THE CELL AREA ARE 15 MEMBRANE PUSH BUTTONS WHICH SERVE AS A
MEANS OF MOVING THE SQUARE CURSOR TO A DESIRED CELL. TO PLACE THE CURSOR
AROUND A CELL, PRESS THE MEMBRANE PUSH BUTTON WHOS LOCATION CORRESPONDS TO
THE DESIRED CELL LOCATION.
E. RIGHT OF THE MEMBRANE PUSH BUTTONS IS THE CANCEL MEMBRANE PUSH BUTTON.
NOTE: THE CANCEL PUSH BUTTON WILL RESET THE CURSOR.
F. RIGHT OF THE CANCEL PUSH BUTTON IS THE NUMERIC ENTRY KEY PAD.
G. ALONG THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE CRT UNIT IS 4 HARD PUSH BUTTONS, WHICH ARE PROGRAMMED
AS INPUTS TO THE PLC.
