Release the Discharge Turret Gear from
the Turret Hollow Shaft
A.
Take out eight M10-1.5 X 40mm Soc. Hd.
Screws from the Bearing Retainer.

Remove the Bearing Retainer and Ball
Bearing located up inside the Gear.

Ball Bearing
NOTE:
Do not use a pry bar to break the Bearing
Retainer loose. Scratches or dents in the
Base bore will impair proper O-Ring seat
after the Column Support is assembled.
Seal Pullers or Coil Spring Hooks have
proven to be successful in removing the
Retainer and Ball Bearing.

Discharge Turret Gear removal
A.
Place a sleeve measuring 3" +.010, -.000 I.D. X
NOTE:
4.62" +.000, -.020 O. D. X .500" thick up onto
Removal of the sleeve
the Column and inside the Turret Gear bore
will be easier if two M6-1
contacting the Hollow Shaft.

Install the Bearing Locknut onto the Column.
