CPU-XL VariSpark IOM 07-21

The 40xxx registers are read/write 16-bit integers. These registers are read using Modbus

standard function 3, and can be written using function 6 (individual), or function 16

(multiple). These registers also support an Altronic custom function 103 which will return

a descriptive label for each specific register. The custom label function can be used to

reduce the need for the Modbus master to maintain a current listing of all of the register

labels for each unit.
