CT Logic (Critical Temperature Logic) YES/NO
CT Logic is one of two modes the Expresso Detacher Control can be put into to sense milk
temperature. If switched to
“
YES
”,
CT Logic provides a means of establishing a normal milk
temperature in the herd by averaging a set number of milk temperatures. The number of milk
temperatures averaged is set
-
up in the next screens. A deviation number is established in the next
set
-
up screens as well. If CT Logic is switched to
“
NO
”
then the Presto Control in the next screen,
will ask for a fixed alarm temperature.
CT
-
Logic Average
Only when CT Logic is switched to
“
YES
”
-
CT Logic Average
CT Logic Average is the number of valid milk temperature peak recordings averaged to establish a
normal milk temperature.
CT
-
Logic Deviation
Only when CT Logic is switched to
“
YES
”
–
CT Logic Deviation
The CT Logic Deviation is the amount that the milk temperature must exceed the average or normal
milk temperature to trigger a high temperature alarm.
Milk Alarm Temperature (Fixed)
The Alarm Temperature setting allows the operator to select the temperature to indicate an alarm
condition. Standard milk temperature is 102.0 F (39.1 C). Setting the alarm temperature above 102.5
F (39.2C) is recommended under standard conditions. Remember to calibrate the milk temperature
according to the Calibrate Milk Temperature Offset. (See Control Set

up Table)
