Camera Gimbal
General
The camera gimbal is pre-adjusted for:
•
Roll/pitch commands
•
Roll/pitch compensation
•
Roll/pitch can be adjusted remotely by the RC transmitter, independent
from position compensation.
•
Slide control S2 controls the pitch axis and POTI2 controls the roll axis.
Roll and pitch axis are subjected to large forces when turning. Do not move the
camera gimbal by hand. You may damage the compensator.
The calibration of the Aibot X6 V2 can lead to sudden movements of the
compensator. Be careful when using long lenses.
Never adjust the black nuts of the roll and pitch axes.
During takeoff and landing, the camera must always be in a horizontal position.
The best images result, when the camera sensor is located on the roll axis.
Installation
The gimbal is permanently mounted to the Aibot X6 V2. A disassembly is not
allowed.
