CAUTION
Sensors may provide wrong data
A malfunction may occur if the environmental information is inconsistent or not
comprehensive. The functionality of some Safety Features relies on the infor-
mation of one or more of the following sensors: Pressure Sensor, Ultrasonic
Sensor, GPS, Magnetic Compass.
Precautions:
•
Be aware that sensors may provide wrong data and always be ready to take
over manual control.
GPS Free (OFF)
The position of the Aibot X6 V2 is controlled completely manually without GPS
guidance. Carefully pay attention to the wind as it will influence the position.
The pitch-movements (forward/ backward) and roll-movements (lateral
left/right) can be controlled with the right joystick.
GPS Dynamic Posi-
tion Hold (PH)
The position of the Aibot X6 V2 is controlled with GPS guidance. The influence
of the wind is compensated automatically. To change the position, the right
joystick controls the desired vector of flight and ground speed.
Make sure that it may take some time for the Aibot X6 V2 to emit the correct
wind compensation. Do not switch from GPS Free to GPS Dynamic Position Hold
while flying aggressive manoeuvres.
GPS Coming Home
(CH)
With the Coming Home mode, the Aibot X6 V2 returns from its current position
to the position, where the motors started. If the Aibot X6 V2 is below the
minimum Coming Home altitude, it climbs to the configured altitude before
returning to the position where the motors stared.
The Coming Home mode only works as described, if a valid GPS signal is avail-
able at the takeoff position.
