Solar Dimming
Lighting can be dimmed in greenhouses when the sunlight has reached sufficient intensity where supple-
mental lighting is no longer required. In the event the sun intensity exceeds the light sensor target, the func-
tion will begin dimming the output. The lights will be dimmed completely as long as the intensity remains
above the target.

NOTE
Using an indoor sensor exposed to the indoor lighting will result in light levels being regulated to the sensor
target value. If the indoor lighting exceeds the target it will be dimmed until the target is reached. If sunlight
exceeds the target, the lights will dim to off if the light intensity remains above the target without supple
-
mental light.
Using a sensor exposed only to the sun (outdoor weather station) will result in the lights dimming to off
when the sunlight intensity is above the target, and will not dim when the sunlight intensity is below the
target.
Temperature Dimming
Lighting can be dimmed in the even temperatures exceed a limit in order to help reduce stress on plants and
limit the heating of the space. If dimming is enabled, the system will begin to dim at the ramp rate until the
temperature is reduced below the preset. If dimming is not enabled, the discrete output will be shut down.
