15 Additional equipment
15.1 Application tubes
Using application tubes removes the danger of burning the upper leaves of plants and provides
even distribution and an accurate distribution of fertilizer.

Passage through the vegetation in the same tracks as in the previous crop treatment.
- The travel speed during such application should be reduced to max 8 km/h so that the natural
resistance of dense vegetation does not result in bent springs and the resulting "upturn" of the
ends of the nozzles (risk of burning the vegetation).
Regardless of whether the sprayer is equipped with standard 50 cm nozzle spacing, or with
preparation for application tubes, it is possible by request to operate with nozzles and application
tubes with spacing of 25 cm, 50 cm or 75 cm.
If the nozzle spacing on the distribution corresponds to the spacing for the application tubes, each
nozzle requires:

1 tube with a nut.
- 1 seal for a dosage coin.
- 1 corresponding dosage coin.
- 1 nozzle corresponding to a dosage coin.
If you only have standard equipment (nozzle holders at 50 cm) but you want to work with a hose
spacing of 25 cm, you need to mount a splitter on each nozzle holder.
When installing the application tubes, ensure the following:

the correct size of the dosage coin (dosage table of different manufacturers).
- the nozzle is properly set in the seal.
- all connections are tight.
