13.2 Securing the booms
Please note that the boom locks on the tips of the booms is only for the event of unintentionally
approaching an obstacle which is at a distance from the end of the boom at a maximum of 2.5% of
the entire working width.
Example:
At a width of 30 m, an obstacle may be 0.75 meters from the tip.
The maximum permitted speed during approaching the obstacle is 4 km/h.
Attention!
The manufacture holds no responsibility for damage to the booms occurring as a result of non-
compliance with the above conditions.
In principle, the machine should be run so that possible obstacles can be noticed in time and the
booms can be folded or lifted.
Driving with partially folded booms is forbidden!
13.3 Description of the "fixed" function of boom suspension
Exactly in the center, the booms are suspended using bands on a carriage.
The even tilt of the booms is adjusted using tension springs between the bands and the lift truck.
The function of the tension springs:
If the springs are fitted and tensioned, the sprayer copies the plane of the axle.
is the sprayer is riding along slopes, the booms are tilted even with the land and sprayer.
If the springs are not fitted, the sprayer copies the uneven terrain of the land to a minimal degree.
Using the sprayer on slopes without the springs fitted is not recommended.
