- The fresh water tank may only be filled with clean water because it is designed for hand
washing, or face washing in case of emergencies.
9.1.2 Suctioning with the piston diaphragm pump
- Connect the suction hose to the quick connector.
- Open the valve for external filling.
- The suction valve must be closed.
- Turn the 5-way valve to "spray".
- There must be no pressure on the air pressure gauge and control panel (0 bar), thus completely
opening the control valve so that the piston diaphragm pump can fill faster.
- Switch on the piston diaphragm pump.
Filling through the aerial filter:
- Connect the suction hose to the quick connector.
- Open the external filling through the aerial filter.
- Open the Ecomixer suction valve upwards.
- The suction valve must be closed.
- Turn the valve to "Ecomixer".
- Turn on the piston diaphragm pump.
- Set the working pressure gauge to 6-8 bar.
Attention!
Do not exceed the maximum permitted pump RPM of 540!
After reaching the desired fill of the tank, turn off the pump.
Attention!
First close the valve and then remove the suction hose, because the suctioned air from the pump
could cause the mix to foam and overflow the tank.
9.1.3 Filling the sprayer tank from the outside
- Connect the filling hose to the C-quick connector.
- Open the filling valve.
- Open the suction valve.
- Open the water supply from a hydrant or a filling tank.
9.1.4 Filling with the centrifugal pump
(only for models equipped with a suction device)
Before starting the centrifugal pump, observe the following.
Centrifugal pump is self-priming, but must never be run dry! Fill the pump housing with water
before using it for the first time. If the pump won't be used for some time, it should be
completely drained. When re-using it, don't forget to fill the housing with water again.
Attention!
Ensure the adequate ventilation of the tank (min. 600 l/min, otherwise open the lid of the tank).
If the suction filter is not fitted on the sprayer before the filling pump, it must not suck water,
otherwise there is a danger of blockage by sand or a foreign object!!!
