the word size in a pop- up window. Change the setting by using any of
the arrow keys to toggle between a word size of seven or eight. To
confirm your choice, press

To change the number of stop bits, press
. The power meter
displays the number of stop bits in a pop- up window. Change the
setting by using any of the arrow keys to toggle between a setting of
one or two. To confirm your choice, press

To change the parity type, press
. The power meter displays the
parity type in a pop- up window. Change the setting by using any of the
arrow keys to select from EVEN, ODD, ZERO, ONE, or NONE. To
confirm your choice, press

to access page 2 of 2. This page allows you to set echo off
and on and gives access to the pacing menu.

to toggle between off and on. When echo is on, all received
characters will be transmitted (echoed) back to the sender.

to access the pacing menu which allows you to enable or
disable various software and hardware pacing options. Pacing will
prevent receiver overrun errors and is generally only required when
large amounts of data are being transferred (for example, cal tables).

to toggle between enabling and disabling the Xon/Xoff
transmitter software handshake. When enabled “Xon” is highlighted,
otherwise “None” is highlighted.

to toggle between enabling and disabling the Xon/Xoff
receiver software handshake. When enabled “Xon” is highlighted,
otherwise “None” is highlighted.
