TUBE-COLLIMATOR ASSEMBLY POSITIONING

Tube-Collimator Assembly is equipped with a blocking system (on top)
consisting of a lock-lever and a ratchet. In order to change angle position of the
Tube-Collimator Assembly in relation to its transverse axis, loose the lock-lever
and lift the ratchet. Ratchet has position detents every 45

o

.

As well, when the operator rotates the Tube-Collimator Assembly, the message

“Tube Rot”

appears in the U-Arm Software Console whenever the Detector

workstation is selected.

The Tube-Collimator Assembly can

be clockwise rotated up

to +1

and counterclockwise rotated up to --90

over these limits may damage the U-Arm cables.
