2.3.4. Encoder Fault Input
The encoder fault input is for use with encoders that have a fault output. This is provided by some
manufactures and indicates a loss of encoder function. The active state of this input is parameter
configurable and the controller should be configured to disable the axis when the fault level is active. The
nominal trip voltage of the encoder fault input is +2.5 V.
