DAS (Direct-Attached) Connection
With additional disk drives over the SAS expansion links, users can create a greater
number of logical groups of drives that use more host channel IDs or LUN numbers.
If a server has multiple data paths to a RAID system, multi-path software, such as the
EonPath driver, is necessary.
The two logical drives in the above drawing cannot leverage the full computing power
of the system. Users may attach 1 or 2 more JBODs to acquire more end-to-end
performance.
