18. Use one 6-inch length of 3/8" foam tape to
capture the header extractors at J1, J3 and
J5 of the 4C3450 PCB sssembly (N).
Stretch tape and over cap when installing.
19. Gather together the 4C3160 harness and
cooling well thermistor cable and combine
with an EZ twist lock tie (O).
20. Gather together the 4C3160 harness and
reservoir and combine with an EZ twist
lock tie (P).
21. Apply three large adhesive-backed mounts
to the unit base; two on the floor of the base
next to the power supply at either end, and
the other on the base wall. Secure the
4C3160 harness assembly to each mount
with a tie wrap (Q).
22. Apply a small adhesive-backed mount to the
thermal printer mechanism base. Using a
short tie wrap, secure the thermal printer
mechanism data cable to the mount (R).
23. Using small tie wraps, secure the 4C3525
cable harness to the two forward standoffs
of the printer control PCB mounting bracket
(S).
24. Ensure enough cable is extended beyond
the standoff to allow a service loop when
plugging the connector into the printer (T).
25. Apply four large adhesive-backed mounts to
the shelf behind the display and keypad,
two above the supervisor keyswitch and
two below each end of the fluorescent
display PCB. Secure the 4C3525 cable
harness to mounts with a tie wrap (U).
26. Rework to the supervisor keyswitch cable to
relieve any stress at the PC board (V).
