butterfly nut (D) and separating the shroud
into halves. Remove each half separately.
4. Remove the cable tie and then disconnect
the fill tubing (E) from the cooling well.
Remove the cable tie and then disconnect
the drain tubing (F) from the cooling well.
5. Disconnect the thermoelectric wires (red
and black) (G).
6. Disconnect the block probe (H) from the
main control board (I) and remove all cable
ties attached to the block probe cable.
7. Support the bottom of the cooling assembly
while removing the three retaining screws
from the top of the deck (J).
8. Remove the cooling assembly from the rear
of the instrument.
9. Install the new cooling assembly by
reversing steps 1-7. Check for proper
alignment of the sample cooling assembly
by operating the unit in the head rotation
“insert mode” test before securing the
cooling assembly to the deck.
NOTE:
Proper alignment is
achieved when a sample tube is
inserted into the well without
interference.
NOTE:
The block probe bin #
may need to be reset when the
block probe is reconnected.
