14. Plug in the power cord and turn on the

instrument.  

15. Monitor the green LED indicator D5 on the

4C3450 PCB. The LED should be off,
indicating that the reservoir tank is
currently not at operating temperature
(approximately -12°C).  After a 30-minute
interval the LED should be illuminated,
indicating that the tank has reached
operating temperature.  During operation,
the LED may extinguish from time to time
as the reservoir tank temperature cycles.

16. Turn off the instrument power, reconnect

the rear cover cooling fans, and reattach
both front and rear covers and sample door.
