WHEEL DRIVE SYSTEM
DANGER!
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PERFORM THE NEXT STEP WITH THE DRIVE WHEELS ON THE FLOOR. THE
DRIVE MOTOR MAY RUN AT FULL SPEED WHEN THE DRIVE PEDAL IS PRESSED.

Jack up the front of the machine, so both drive wheels are off the floor. Place jack stands under the
frame.

See Figure 9. Disconnect wire #41 from terminal “S” (on the speed control) and connect it to terminal “T”,
along with the negative wire.

Reconnect the battery, sit in the operator’s seat (to close the seat switch), turn the key switch ON and
press the drive pedal.

If the drive motor runs at full speed in both directions, go to step 3.
*
If the drive motor doesn’t run in either direction, go to step 4.
