SCRUB BRUSH SYSTEM

SCRUB BRUSH BELT or GEAR BOX COUPLER REPLACEMENT

Turn the key switch ON and put the brush switch in the OFF (O) position. When the brushes are all the
way up, turn the key switch OFF.

Open the access panel on the front of the machine (held closed by 3 screws).

See Figure 2. Loosen the (2) “G” bolts and back them out 3 or 4 turns.

Disconnect the top end of the spring “L” from the bracket on the machine frame.

Turn the key switch ON and put the brush switch in the ON (I) position. When the brushes are all the way
down, turn the key switch OFF and disconnect the battery (connector behind the right-rear door).

Turn the 2 “H” bolts to loosen tension on the brush belt.

Loosen the (3) “M” set screws and remove the (3) “N” bolts.

Loosen the (2) “P” set screws and pry yoke “Q” away from yoke “R”.

Work the belt between yoke “R” and gear box coupler “S”.
Follow the additional steps below to replace the gear box coupler.

Loosen the (3) “T” set screws and remove the (3) “U” bolts.

Work the gear box coupler out, between the (2) drive yokes.
Follow the steps in reverse order to reassemble.
