TROUBLESHOOTING
Follow the instructions under the “Problem” that best describes the condition of the machine being serviced.
WARNING!
USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN TESTING LIVE ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS. REMOVE JEWELRY FROM
HANDS AND WRISTS BEFORE TROUBLESHOOTING.
WARNING!
NEVER ALLOW A TOOL OR TEST PROBE TO TOUCH MORE THAN ONE ELECTRICAL TERMINAL AT A
TIME.

Problem: Scrub Brushes Will Not Come Up
Before troubleshooting, open the electrical access panel on the front of the machine and check the 10 amp
brush lift circuit breaker (see Figure 14). Push the reset button if necessary.
Note: Make all tests with the key switch ON and the brush lift switch in the OFF (O) position.

from the left electrical box. Con-
nect a DC voltmeter to the Gray/
Red and Black wires on the (R3)
brush lift solenoid.

0 volts - go to step 2.

36 volts - go to step 3.
