RECOVERY TANK ADJUSTMENT
Two adjustable bumpers are located under the front of the Recovery Tank. These bumpers should be ad-
justed so the tank cover seals air-tight against the top of the recovery tank.
When adjusting the bumpers, also check the spring-loaded tubes under the tank (not on Hydro-Max II). The
tubes should move up and down freely and the gaskets on each tube should seal air-tight against the bottom
of the recovery tank. Normal adjustment of the bumpers should not affect the seal of the spring-loaded tubes
against the bottom of the recovery tank.

SQUEEGEE ADJUSTMENTS
Before adjusting the squeegee . . .
1
Remove the squeegee tool from the machine and inspect the squeegee blades. If the front edge of the
wiping blade is worn to a radius, nicked or torn, remove it from the squeegee and turn it around so the
edge that used to face forward now faces toward the back of the machine. If both edges of the blade are
worn or damaged, replace the blade.
2
Check the squeegee casters in front of the squeegee mount. Replace the casters if they are damaged or
worn out.
To adjust the squeegee . . .
1
Turn the key switch ON and put the
vacuum switch (on the dashboard) in the
ON (I) position.
2
See Figure 4. Adjust the (2) “G” screws
to set the squeegee angle. The entire
length of the wiping blade should be flat
against the floor. If the blade is high in
the middle, turn the screws clockwise. If
the blade is high on the ends, turn the
screws counter-clockwise. Make small
adjustments (2 turns or less) at each
screw to avoid bending the squeegee
mount.
