STEERING CHAIN ADJUSTMENT
To adjust the steering chain . . .

Drain and remove the recovery tank.

See Figure 2. Remove the cover over the steering spindle sprocket “A”.

Loosen the (2) “B” bolts and locknut “C”.

Turn bolt “D” to adjust the chain tension.

There should be about 3/8 inch (10 mm) deflection between the (2) small sprockets as shown in Figure 2.

Reassemble in reverse order and test for proper operation.
