OUTER SIDE SKIRT ADJUSTMENT / REMOVAL
Adjust the outer side skirts “T” (see figure 7) if the machine leaves water on the floor around turns. Inspect the
skirts before adjusting, replace them if they are nicked, torn, or if the wiping edge is worn to a radius.
To adjust the outer side skirts . . .

Turn the steering wheel all the way to the right. This should raise the left skirt and lower the right skirt.

See Figure 8. Adjust the UP position of the left skirt. Loosen the (4) “X” screws and adjust the skirt lifting
cables so that the bottom edge of the skirt is 3/8 inch (10 mm) off of the floor.

Adjust the DOWN position of the right skirt. Loosen the lock nuts and turn the (2) “Y” bolts so that there
is 3/8 inch (10 mm) between the head of the bolt and the down stop plates.
Note: Adjust the DOWN position with the outer skirts flat against the floor, not bent over in their operating
position.

Turn the steering wheel all the way to the left. This should raise the right skirt and lower the left skirt.

See Figure 8. Adjust the UP position of the right skirt. Loosen the (4) “X” screws and adjust the skirt
lifting cables so that the bottom edge of the skirt is 3/8 inch (10 mm) off of the floor.

Adjust the DOWN position of the left skirt. Loosen the lock nuts and turn the (2) “Y” bolts so that there is
3/8 inch (10 mm) between the head of the bolt and the down stop plates.
To remove the outer side skirts . . .
