DPO/FUA Bit
The DPO/FUA (disable page out/force unit access) is used only when the host computer’s operating
system issues the FUA command for every read/write command. Use of this command

degrades the
ArrayMasStor’s performance. To prevent this from happening, the DPO/FUA bit should be turned off.
IMPORTANT !
Only switch on the DPO/FUA bit if your operating system uses
the force unit access command with its read/write operations.
For additional information, see your operating system manual.
From the change configuration menu, use the up or down button to
display DPO/FUA BIT. Press the select button to access this menu.
Use the up or down button to choose ON or OFF, or press the
select button to enable or disable the DPO/FUA bit.
Press the select button to confirm the change, or press the cancel
button to return the display to the previous menu without changing
the DPO/FUA bit.
MODE CHANGED appears to confirm that the change has been
made. Press the select button to return to the change configuration
menu..
The DPO/FUA bit setting has now been changed. Press the cancel
button to return to the main menu.

When a FUA read/write command is sent to the ArrayMasStor, the cache is bypassed and the read
and write operations are sent directly to the drives. This results in impaired performance.
