Configuring the Write Cache Mode
The write cache mode turns the ArrayMasStor’s cache on and off. When the write cache mode is
switched on, the ArrayMasStor’s speed and input/output performance are enhanced. Disabling the
write cache bypasses the drive cache and degrades the ArrayMasStor’s performance.
From the change configuration menu, use the up or down button to
display WRITE CACHE. Press the select button to access this menu.
Use the up or down button to choose ON or OFF, and press the
select button to enable or disable the write cache mode.
To confirm the change, press the select button, or press the cancel
button to return the display to the previous menu without changing
the write cache mode.
MODE CHANGED appears to confirm that the changed has been
made. Press the select button to return to the change configuration
menu.
The write cache mode has now been changed. Press the cancel
button to return to main menu.
