Double Fault (Failure of two or more drives)
When two or more drives fail, data stored on the ArrayMasStor cannot be reconstructed and some or
all of the data will be permanently lost. To avoid double fault, failed drives should be replaced as
soon as possible.
There are two ways to return to the normal mode.
a)
Replace only the first failed drive by following the procedures in section 4.2.8, Forced Data
Reconstruction.
b)
During system halt, replace the failed drives by following the procedures in section 4.2.9, System
Halt.
The display indicates that the ArrayMasStor is in degraded mode 2,
which means that two or more drives have failed.
This menu turns off the buzzer. Pressing the select button advances
the display to the stop buzzer menu.
The display indicates the physical numbers of the failed drives.
IMPORTANT !
When two or more drives fail, some or all of the data will be
erased. If a drive fails, replace it as soon as possible
