System Halt
When an unrecoverable error occurs (due to the replacement of two or more drives, or to the failure of
the RAID controller board), the ArrayMasStor enters system halt mode. In system halt mode, the
ArrayMasStor prevents further data corruption by rejecting SCSI commands from host computer. If a
system halt occurs for reasons other than those stated above, contact your service representative for
assistance.
IMPORTANT !
During initialization all user data is erased.
The display indicates that the ArrayMasStor has entered system halt.
If the buzzer is switched on, it will beep. To stop the buzzer, press
the select button.
To turn off the buzzer, press the select button again. If the cancel
button is pressed, the display returns to the previous menu without
turning off the buzzer.
Initialization erases all error information on the drives and returns
the system to normal mode. However, during initialization all data
is erased.
A password is necessary to start initialization. For instruction on
how to enter the password, see section 4.9.1, Entering the Password.
Press the cancel button to return the display to the previous menu.
Press the select button again to confirm. Press the cancel button to
return the display to the previous menu and abort the initialization
process.
