» Config Transfer
Write security: 3; Read security: 5
Used only with TFTP transfers. Sends a file containing the ATLAS 800
PLUS
configuration to a file on a TFTP server using the TFTP protocol through the
10BaseT Ethernet port.
Config Transfer
also lets you save the
ATLAS 800
PLUS
configuration as a backup file, so you can use the same con-
figuration with multiple ATLAS 800
PLUS
units. In addition,
Config Trans-
fer
can retrieve a configuration file from a TFTP server.
To support these transfers, ADTRAN delivers a TFTP program with
ATLAS 800
PLUS
called TFTP Server. You can configure any PC running Mi-
crosoft Windows with this software, and store a configuration file. See TFTP
Server on page 13-10 for details on how to use TFTP Server.
Only one configuration transfer session (upload or download) can be active
at a time. The TCP/IP parameters are not saved or overwritten as part of an
ATLAS 800
PLUS
unit’s transferred configuration; this way, identical config-
urations can be sent to multiple units.
»» Transfer Method

server. Currently, you must use TFTP.
»» TFTP Server IP
