Getting Started

3.1 CPU Installation
The cPCI-6760D CPU module supports Intel BGA2 Low Power
Pentium-III/Celeron processors of 100MHz front side bus (FSB)
frequency.
The CPU on cPCI-6760D series products is soldered onto the
PCB (printed circuit board) in the factory. The heatsink is also pre-
mounted in the factory. Do not attempt to remove the heatsink of
the CPU as it may cause irrecoverable damage to the system, as
well as voiding the warranty.
WARNING:
Do not attempt to replace the CPU or remove the
heatsink. This will cause irrecoverable damage to the
board and will void the warranty.
