Host Adapter SCSI Termination
This option allows you to configure host controller SCSI termination. Figure 4-5
shows the choices available if you have an AIC-7880. The default setting is Low
OFF/High ON

Use the cursor (
↑
↓
) and Enter keys to make your selection.
Since the system contains both UltraWide (68-
pin) SCSI devices and narrow (50-pin) SCSI
devices, termination must be set to allow each
section of the SCSI bus to be terminated. The
narrow device in this system is terminated,
causing the LOW byte on the motherboard to be
turned off. On the other end, the back panel
terminates both bytes (Low OFF/High ON).
