Fuses (IEC)
The table lists gG, UL, and uR or aR fuses for protection against short-circuit in the
input power cable or drive. Either fuse type can be used if it operates rapidly enough.
The operating time depends on the supply network impedance, and the cross-
sectional area and length of the supply cable. Refer to
Do not use fuses with a higher current rating than given in the table.
You can use fuses from other manufacturers, if they meet the ratings, and if the
melting curve of the fuse does not exceed the melting curve of the fuse mentioned in
the table.
gG fuses
Make sure that the operating time of the fuse is less than 0.5 seconds. Obey the local
regulations.
