5.4. Operation OR
The status of an OR diagram output is 1, if at least one of the inputs has a status of 1.
The figure to the left represents a ladder diagram OR operation with three inputs. The number
of contacts, which may be placed in parallel, is unlimited.
The diagram to the right represents the same function with a function block. The number of
inputs for an OR function block is limited to a maximum of 128.
