3ware BIOS Manager (3BM)
.
Normally your 3ware configuration remains on-screen for just a few
seconds. However, if a unit has degraded, the screen indicates the
problem and remains on your screen longer.

If you have more than one 9000-series controller in your system, a screen
lists the available boards (see Figure 28). In this case, highlight the board
with which you want to work and press
Enter
.

You see a screen similar to the warning message below, warning you that
changing your disk array configuration may overwrite data on the disks.

If you plan to make changes to your configuration and need to backup
data before continuing, press
ESC
and do so now. Otherwise, press any
key to continue.

If 3BM detects a degraded array, a red message box appears, to alert you
to the problem. For information about rebuilding a degraded array, see
“Locating a Drive by Blinking Its LED” on page 161.
