It is recommended that you replace your helmet 2-5 years from date of manufacture dependant on the environment
and conditions of use. The key factors for a helmets 'in use' life are exposure to external force, chemicals and

The 3M™ UVicator™ and the helmet must be equally exposed to light. The 3M™ UVicator™ disc must
not be covered by stickers or removed from the helmet.
Electrically Insulating Helmets
The double triangle marking on the helmet indicates that the helmet is suitable for live working. The helmet provides
electrical insulation for use in low voltage installations up to a nominal value indicated next to the double triangle
symbol. Helmets approved according to EN50365:2002, class 0, makes them suitable for use in low voltage

The helmet, head harness and sweatband should be cleaned regularly using a mild solution of detergent in warm
water.
