c) Fan
This function implements a 2-button (increase / decrease) fan control, as well
as an icon indicator.
Figure 61.
Fan Control
When this function is assigned to the box, a binary control object (
[Pn][Bi] Fan
Control
) and a 1-byte status object (
[Pn][Bi] Fan Indicator
) are enabled. The
former will be sending the value “1” to the bus when the user touches the
increase button, while the value “0” will be sent when the decrease button is
touched. On the other hand, the status object (which needs to be linked to the
status object of the fan actuator) will express, as a percentage, the value of the
current fan level, which will be represented with a variable icon on the box.
The parameters available are:
Action
: permits setting the increase or decrease actions to one button or
another. Options are: “Left: decrease, Right increase” (default) and “Left
increase, Right decrease”.
Fan Type
: defines the number of states to be distinguished depending on
the value of the status object, so more or less different icons will be used
to represent the fan level in the box.
•
Min / Max: the first state (
minimum
) will correspond to any value within
the range 0% to 49%, both included; the second state (
maximum
) will
correspond to all values greater than 49%.
•
Min / Med / Max: levels between 0% and 33%, both included,
correspond to the
minimum
state; values between 34% and 66%, to
the
medium
state; and values over 67% to the
maximum
state.
