CIF (Central Interface)
Precondition:
The computer module and cover have been removed.
The PCIe Adapter PCB has been removed.
Procedure:
1)
Disconnect all cables excluding the two
screwed into place (power supply cabling). If
required a slotted screwdriver can be used to
help remove the bulkier cable connector.
2)
Remove the five screws (Torx 8) holding the
CIF in place.
3)
Lift the CIF to gain access and remove the
two screws (Torx 20) for the power supply
cabling.
Reassembly:
1)
Reassemble in the reverse order, observing
the following:

Begin by connecting the two screws (Torx 20)
for the power supply cabling.
Caution!
Pay attention to the cable and connector
colour coding!
3)
When attaching the cabling; work from
bottom to top ensuring that no cables are
tangled or pulled too tight. Ensure that the
PTC fuses are not bent/broken.
4)
Pay extra attention to connecting the ribbon
cable (ON/OFF switch).
5)
Perform a system checkout in accordance
with the instrument checklist.
