Chapter 8 USING OPTIONS AND EXTERNAL DEVICES

Removing

This section explains procedure of removed options to take printer/FDD unit for example.

Make sure that the power to the instrument is turned OFF.

WARNING

Do not remove the printer/FDD unit while the power to the instrument is ON.

Failure to observe this may result in an electric shock.

For the method of turning OFF the power, refer to page 3-107.

Release the tab from the instrument.

When releasing the tab, take care not to trap your finger.

Lift the unit straight to remove it.

Attach the cover to the expansion port.

Make sure that the cover is attached.
