Make sure that the Instrument power is off.

2.

Open the optical port cover.

3.

Insert the optical adapter directly into the rear shell.

4.

Pull the optical adapter lock lever down and outwards to lock it. If the adapter is screwed in,

turn the knob to the right to tighten it.

Note

Insert the optical adapter carefully and straight. If the adapter shakes to the left and right or is forced in or
out, it may be damaged, and the optical port ferrule may also be damaged.
