4 .6 Fully inflate the air chambers
n
ote
A pressure relief valve is placed in air chamber -1- (bow).
The pressure of the air chambers -2- and -3- (starboard and
port) must not become too high during full inflation to prevent
distortion of the partition.
5 Outboard motor installation
Selecting the right outboard motor is critical to the perfor-
mance and longevity of your boat.
W
arninG
Never install a motor with a higher power rating than indi-
cated on the builder’s plate as the maximum power.
Use a so-called ‘short-tail’ motor, not a ‘long-tail’ one.
• Unlock motor for tilting and mount the motor properly.
• Position the motor at the centre of the transom.
• It is important that the outboard motor is installed at the
correct height. Secure the clamps and make sure that
they are thoroughly tightened.
• Set the motor’s trim setting to neutral when you first use
it, and adjust it later if necessary. With an incorrect trim
position of the motor, the nose of the boat will be pushed
up or down while boating.
• Read your outboard motor manual for more information,
or contact your motor supplier.
All models
• Install the oars.
• Install the drain plug.
6 Use
6 .1 General
Inflate the boat a day before use and check for leaks.
Do not leave the boat in the sun for long periods. Too much
sunlight can accelerate the ageing of materials.
Store the boat in a cool and shady place.
Prevent pollution of the water around your boat. Using the
water for water sports also means taking care of a clean wa-
ter sports environment.
W
arninG
Do not exceed the maximum recommended number of peo-
ple. Regardless of the number of persons on board, the total
weight of persons and equipment must not exceed the rec-
ommended maximum load. Always use the seats provided.
W
arninG
When loading your boat, do not exceed the recommended
maximum load. Load the vessel carefully and distribute the
load appropriately to maintain design trim (approximately
level). Do not place heavy weights too high.
Always check local navigational maps where the boat will be
operated.
c
aution
The proper distribution of passengers across the boat is im-
portant. If you are only steering straight ahead, it is best to
keep the bow low by having persons sitting in the front of
the boat.
