4 .2 Preparation before inflating
• Assemble the boat on a flat surface.
• Remove sharp objects.
• Unfold the boat and lay it flat.
• Check that the inflation valve is in the correct position.
• Connect the pump to the inflation valve and start inflat-
ing.

Never fully inflate a single air chamber as this may damage
the inner partition.
Make sure the pressure in the air chambers is roughly equal.
As a result, the pressure on both sides of the partitions sepa-
rating the air chambers will be approximately equal; see 4.6.
During inflation,
do not use a compressed air source
(I.e.
automotive tire air compressor) to inflate boats. Over infla-
tion through the use of compressed air may result in ruptured
seams and/or bulkheads.
Too much pressure in the air chambers may cause structural
damage to your boat. Therefore, do not expose your boat to
direct sunlight when it is not in the water, as the expansion of
air can lead to damage or bursting (maximum air pressure: 0.25
bar). For an inflatable floor, the maximum air pressure is 0.7 bar.
4 Inflating
4 .1 Operation of the inflation valve
During inflation
Twist the central section a
quarter turn to close the in-
flation valve.
Check that the inflation
valve is in this position be-
fore connecting the pump
to inflate the boat.
Deflating
Press the central section
of the inflation valve and
simultaneously twist it a
quarter turn to open the
valve.
• Begin inflation at bow -1-, then starboard -2- and port
side -3-.
• Inflate chambers to around 40-50%.
4 .4 Installing the floor
The transom blocks on the YellowV VB series are specially
designed to fix both an aluminium floor and an inflatable
floor in the right place.
With the exception of the VB200, both types of floor can be
supplied.
4 .3 Inflation
The boat is equipped with three air chambers.

All models
• Before inflating the boat,
check the recommended
operating pressure as in-
dicated on the inflation
valve ring.
• Install no. 1 and no. 4 floor board first with the numbers
facing up.
• Then install the floor boards no. 2 and 3.
• Make sure all floor boards are well seated in correct posi-
tion then push down the joint slowly and firmly until in flat
position.
Boat with an aluminium floor:
• Put the aluminium stringers into the sides of floors. In or-
der to put the aluminium stringer easier, put an oar under
the boat.
• Install the seat board. Slide it onto the mounting rail, see
4.5.
• Inflate the tubes to 100%, to max. 0.25 bar, see 4.6.
• Inflate keel to 100%, to max. 0.25 bar.
