Fault Cause Remedy
The welding torch operations are
not correct.
The wire stickout of the welding
wire is too short.
Extend it a little. Change the
welding torch angle.
The welding conditions are not
correct.
Check that the welding voltage set
value is not too large or that the
wire feeding set value is not too
small.
Chips are defective.
Check that the chip hole is worn
and its inner diameter has become
excessive. Also check for defect
on the chip inner side.
Welding current conduction is not
perfect.
Check the connections and the
current conduction contacting
section of the base metal to
confirm the current conduction.
Burnback occurs.
(The welding wire sticks
to the end tip of the
chip.)
The welding wire almost buckles.
Pull the welding wire from the
inside of the conduit and pass the
welding wire again through the
conduit.
