• Shift operation

Unsmooth operation

Checking steps:

• Turn the throttle grip to the fully closed

position.

• Check the shift lever for smooth operation

by shifting the lever from neutral to forward
and reverse.

7. Adjust:

• Throttle cable joint position 

Adjustment steps:

• Turn the throttle grip to the fully closed

position.

• Turn the magneto control lever

 so that

its adjusting screw contacts the fully
retarding stopper

• Turn the shift lever to the forward position.
• Adjust the position of the cable joint until

its hole aligns with the set pin.

• Install the clip
