Network Installation

Phaser 4622

System Administrator Guide

Windows Internet Name Service (WINS)

WINS settings enable the printer to register its IP name and address so other devices on the network
can refer to it by name.

To enable SSDP:

At your Workstation, open the Web browser and enter the

TCP/IP Address

of the machine in the

Address bar.

Press

Enter

Click on the

Properties

tab.

Click on the

Connectivity

link.

Click on the

Protocols

link.

Click on the

WINS

link.

Check the

Enable

Checkbox.

Enter the primary and secondary WINS server IP addresses.

Click the apply button to save the changes.
