Note:

If you selected NEW COLOR, NEW BLACK, or NEW

PHOTO, the machine automatically prints out an Alignment Pattern
to adjust the alignment for new print cartridges.

Note:

If you are interrupted and leave the print carrier in the load

position for more than 30 minutes, the print cartridge carrier moves to
the standby position.

Cartridge Alignment

You should print the cartridge alignment test if vertical lines or
characters appear crooked. The cartridge alignment test will
straighten the vertical lines.

To align the cartridge from your PC:

Open the Xerox WorkCentre 480cx Control Program on LPT1.

Click the Align Cartridges button.

The printer feeds a sheet of paper and prints the alignment test
pattern.
