CHAPTER 2: Local Operation
Operation
The iAM2-8 can be operated easily and simply from controls on its front panel, as
described in this chapter. It may be accessed remotely in two ways, via the Wohler
Web GUI for administrative purposes or by third party equipment via Application
Programming Interface (API) commands. The Wohler Web GUI is described in
Chapter 4 of this manual. The API commands are described in Appendix E of this
manual.
Startup
The iAM2-8 will begin its startup process when it is connected to power. There is no
power switch. It is normal for the product to require about 45 seconds to start up
and be ready to use.
When the iAM2-8 completes its startup, the
Status
indicator will turn green.
Depending upon optional settings, all channel pairs will either be in the muted
condition or set in a predetermined way. You may then use the
Source
and
Channel
controls to enable only the program channels you want to hear.
