CLEANING
High pressure cleaning is prohibited.
Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
Check that all electrical elements are connected to each other. All exits from the box
they must be used, otherwise the sealing of the box is not insured.
If any type of body fluid and especially urine should fall, immediately clean the electrical
connector housings and the control.
This crane is a non-critical device that requires a "low level disinfection". Remember that the
recommendations below have been prepared in accordance with the recommendations of good
practices but should not be considered as a protocol. Consult your hospital hygiene department.
1. OBJECTIVE
Restore the original condition of the crane and prevent the transmission of germs from one
patient to another. Eliminate any organic contamination through:
• Mechanical action (cleaning)
• Chemical action (disinfection)
2. INDICATIONS
The physical and bacteriological cleaning of the crane and its accessories
3. MATERIAL
Microfiber wipes
Detergent or disinfectant-detergent (surface DD with CE mark and
Surface disinfectant (chlorinated derivatives, alcohol-based <30%)
Warning: DD and bleach products should not be used in their pure state. Follow the
recommendations of the disinfectant manufacturers regarding the application times (the drying
time is often equal to the time of the persistence of the infectious agents outside the human
presence).

4. TECHNICAL
- Daily maintenance with a DD product for the surface applied at once.
- Maintenance after discharge of the patient or through periodic maintenance
the Biopulizia procedure respecting the following:
• Cleaning is carried out by means of a cloth impregnated with a
detergent-disinfectant solution (DD) of surfaces.
• The rinsing is achieved by means of a fabric, it is rinsed with
clear water.

pipes, use the steam nozzle with a microfiber cloth. Do not direct the nozzle to electrical units
and actuators.
• The drying of the joints with compressed air.
• Caution: Disinfect the actuators, electronic boxes and controls with a microfibre cloth
impregnated with a disinfectant.
