CHAPTER 4

Installing the Cabinet

The HPSA-7100-R cabinet is installed near the speaker array and in accordance with the
site design. This chapter discusses ground and elevated installation methods.

4.1

INSTALLING THE CABINET

The HPSA-7100-R cabinet can be installed at ground level standing alone or elevated.
Refer to the site design plan to determine the method selected for your site and then
proceed to the appropriate section below to learn how to mount the cabinet.

PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO
INSTALL THE HPSA-7100-R. FAILURE TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS CAN
CAUSE BODILY INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE HPSA-7100-R.

DO NOT INSTALL THE BATTERY SHELF AT THIS TIME

Space is provided for routing wire under the battery shelf. Temporarily leave
the battery shelf out of the cabinet until AC cables and other wiring have
been installed and properly routed as described in Chapter 5, Connecting
Cables to Electronics Components.

The contracted installation crew is responsible for procuring all installation
equipment and hardware not included with the Cooper Notification
equipment. All mounting hardware not provided by Cooper Notification must
be corrosion resistant.
